The crochet patterns I sell on Etsy and Ravelry are my designs, which means that you are welcome to make and sell the finished products as much as you would like. What you cannot do is resell or give away (in other words, "share") copies of any of these patterns (or any other patterns you may have purchased or downloaded from anyone else). That's called copyright infringement and it is against the law. You know that big announcement at the beginning of videos, etc. that says copying is stealing? Same thing with patterns.
Please respect the hard work designers put into their patterns by directing your friends who want copies to our websites. Thank you!
Tested & Approved Patterns
All of my patterns have been tested by crocheters other than just me. This is such an important part of making sure (as much as possible!) that the patterns I publish are error-free and easy to understand that I wanted to find a way to highlight that fact. And since a picture "is worth 1,000 words", well, I came up with this graphic which you will see on in my pattern listings.
What does it mean? It means that before I offer a pattern for free or for sale, other crocheters have used it to create their own version of the finished article. As much as I wish I could say that the pattern is certified 100% free of any mistakes, I can't do that as things do sometimes still get through. BUT it does mean that several other sets of eyes have proofread the pattern, several other sets of hands have followed the instructions successfully and that IF you do find an error, it should be a minor typo or something.
As always, if you purchase one of my patterns and have a question about any part of it, you can contact me directly using the email in the pattern.
